A step-by-step guide on how to get from Manila to Siquijor via Dumaguete
FLIGHTS
Your destination is the Philippines. You can choose either Manila or Mactan-Cebu Airport as your arrival point. Make sure to book a direct flight from either Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) or Mactan-Cebu International Airport to Dumaguete (Sibulan Airport).
Several airlines, such as Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific, offer daily flights.
Duration: The flight typically takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
TRANSPORTATION
Upon arrival at Sibulan Airport, take a tricycle or taxi to Dumaguete Port (also known as Dumaguete Wharf or Dumaguete Seaport). The ride takes about 20-30 minutes.
Cost: Tricycle fare is approximately PHP 150-200, while a taxi can cost around PHP 300-400.
FERRY OPTIONS
OceanJet: Offers fast craft services with a travel time of about 50 minutes to 1 hour.
Montenegro Lines: Offers RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) services with a travel time of around 1.5 hours.
GL Shipping Lines: Offers similar RoRo services with a travel time of approximately 1.5 hours.
Schedule: Check the ferry schedules in advance as they can vary. It's advisable to arrive at the port early to purchase tickets and secure a seat.
Cost: The ferry fare ranges from PHP 200 to PHP 300, depending on the type of vessel and class of service.
FROM SIQUIJOR PORT TO YOUR DESTINATION
Transportation: Upon arrival at Siquijor Port, you can rent a scooter or take a tricycle or van to your accommodation or chosen destination on the island.
Cost: Tricycle fares start at around PHP 150 for short distances and can go up depending on the distance to your destination. Vans and multicabs may offer fixed rates or negotiated fares.
Exclusive Transportation: We offer a pick up and drop off at the ferry port, you must inform us in advance about your arrival time.
